Opinions on Morey's Pier

Just wondering if anyone has a general impression of the place? Wondering about making a 2 hour drive there for its openign day. it woudl result in some interesting scheduling for our SFA, BGW, PKD trip in a month but it sounds intriguing.

It's a great place. Great White is a nice little CCI, and their two Vekoma's are in top form. Great Nor'Easter was actually my favorite SLC. I personally love seaside parks, and this is one of the best in that category. Go for it, you won't regret it. :)

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.

Check the web site before making the trip. Only the Schellenger Ave Pier opens for Palm Sunday and Easter weekends. The other 3 piers open on a stagered schedule into May. The 2 waterparks also open on a staggered schedule.

"What do I know, I only work in an Amusement Park?"
"You are paying to get in. Period."

We are calling tomorrow to see what will and won't be open. If it doesn't work out I think its too GADV for some Nitro and Robin action.

I haven't been up there in years, but the Great Nor-Easter was a pretty cool coaster from what I remember. I always liked the Jersey shore parks when I lived in Philly. I would like to get up there again soon.

I have been to Morey's Piers twice. Great Nor' Easter is also my favorite SLC. Your feet come very close to some of the supports. The view you get of the ocean while you come up the lift is great. Great White has some nice moments of airtime. Sea Serpent and RC-48 are fun. Then there are three other coasters. Two are kiddie and one wild mouse themed to fast food. If you go when you plan to you will only get to ride Great Nor' Easter and RC-48. I hope that helps.
