Opinions Of Worlds Of Fun

What does everyone think of Worlds Of Fun and some of it's coasters and other rides?

thanks,

Mamba is awesome, but not as good as Wild Thing in my opinion (the similar Morgan hyper @ sister park Valleyfair!), however Mamba beats out Magnum in my book (as does Wild Thing). Timber Wolf is amazing. I liked it from the start, but liked it better each time I rode it. Airtime galore. Ride both of these in the last seat for the best experience. Also be sure to ride them both at night - they seem faster, and are tons of fun in the dark. Orient Express is OK. The 2nd half is really rough. Overall, it let me down (Demon @ SFGAm is still the best Arrow double loop/corkscrew coaster). Boomerang...blah - a standard Vekoma boomerang. Not as bad as everyone makes them out to be, but still nothing great. Detonator is pretty good, but I still strongly prefer the Turbo Drops over the Space Shots. The park is lacking a little on flat rides. The prices are decent, and the food is OK. The park is nicely landscaped and themed. There ya have it !

Current favorite coasters:
Wooden: 1) Beast 2) Raven 3) Son of Beast 4) The Boss 5) Timber Wolf
Steel: 1) Raging Bull 2) Millennium Force 3) V2 4) Wild Thing 5) Mr. Freeze
WoF is my home park, and though it may not have many coasters (4 major, 1 kiddie), they are all good. Mamba is simply amazing, especially in the back seat. Timber Wolf does have some good airtime and some good laterals on the last turnaround. The Orient was the first coaster with a boomerang and the second w/ the interlocking loops. It is fun and it is usually a walk on. WoF is a lot better this year than it was last year, and hopefully it gets a new coaster soon.
