I feel that all the wooden coasters are better at KI and the only thing KW has going for it is the Steel Phantom.
Wow, it's been a while then, given Steel Phantom doesn't exist anymore!

Well, its too late to change my mind anyway. The hotel has been booked, as well as some other Pittsburgh excursions. Next year's Boobuzz I can hit up King's Island.

You're making a fine choice. Kennywood will be a blast.
And Phantom is awesome.
I hope you have a good experience. Hopefully they have figured out how credit cards work by now, or maybe that is just part of their "nostalgic" experience. ;)
I love me some Phantom.

It's much better with that section of trick track (or misaligned, or whatever the hell it was) replaced. And PR rides after dark are incredible.

Not even close - Kennywood.
How many "First Golden Age" woodies exist in the entire world, and how many of them are at KW. Add in Ghostwood, Kangaroo, Bayern Kurve, Auto Race(!), the new Sky Rocket I've heard such good things about, and oh yeah, one of the top-5 steelies in this country in PRev (fixed to remove the bad *jostle* at the top of the 2nd hill).
...if you've never been, KW is an absolute no-brainer on this one....you've made an excellent choice :)
*Next effort - stowing away in delan's luggage.... ;)
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
Hope he has a blast.
Gator, we should plan a weekend trip to Kennywood! ;)
I live less than 2 hours from Knoebels and about 4 hours from Kennywood. I kinda wish it was the other way around.

Seriously Josh. Let me know what days you're off the rest of October. Maybe we can make it happen. A Friday night could be difficult for me, but Saturdays sound to be pretty horribly buy. The two Fridays I've gone to PFN were bad enough.

If you need to go on a Saturday, go on the 30th. It's generally not that busy on Halloween weekend.
