Opinion of Kennywood's Phantoms Revenge

I'd like to find out other people's opinion of Phantom's Revenge. I was at Kennywood last Monday and the airtime PR has is like no other coaster out there, especially when riding in the last seat. After the 1st drop, you're out of your seat more than you're in it, and the camelbacks produce very strong airtime, like no other coaster I've ever been on...what does everybody else think of it?

I would have to agree. The first 2 drops of this coaster just get progressively more terrorfying. Then you go through enormous swooping curve. Finished off with the most extreme airtime I have ever experience on a coaster.

Wonderful ride but it's WAY too short. Just when it feels like you're "getting into it" you pop over the last hill into the station. I understand Kennywood had to work with a small space and they did a terrific job - PR is one of the best, but if they had the space to make it a bit longer, it's be a bonafide list topper for many.
it was ok, i could've made it so much better though. What i would've done is have the overbanked turn go over the station and run paralell with the second hill going down the ravine even further, going into a second overbanked turn up the hill going down into the ravine again, then meet up where the trench is and keep the rest the same.

Yeah I would also have to agree with this...the ride is awsome but adding more to it would have definately made it maybe the #1 coaster in the world. It's a top 5 ride in my mind...but its shortness will always be the reason it might not get to #1...

AMAZING. 1000 times better than the old phantom. It really feels like it's going WAY too fast during those bunny hops. I've never seen bunny hops engaged at that speed before. The result is very sharp airtime. That along with the JackRabbit gives Kennywood two of the greatest moments of strong airtime out there. (Perhaps only topped by the back seat of Hypersonic XLC)

There's no doubt how superior it is to it's predisessor. It's not even in the same league. It could be longer, I suppose. But you won't find many rides the will paste a smile on your face like this one does.

So many coasters - so little time.

Nice to see someone who appreciates the double dip on Jackrabbit! That's got to be one of the single biggest moments of air on any coaster out there. Sit in the back seat and it feels like you're seriously going to be tossed out of the train. Incredible stuff!
The ride is swesome but did anyones neck hurt after the last 2 bunnyhills. That was the only downside to the ride .
Off The Chain.
My opinion of Phantom's Revenge?

ROCKS! Completely! Better (for my tastes) than both Magnum and Millennium Force (save the Force in the front). The double down in the backseat is up there with the double up on The Legend and the 3rd hill on S:ROS.

It's a very good ride. Second only to MF in my book. It is probably the smoothest coaster I've been on. It is a short ride, but Kennywood really did not have much of a choice due to the limited space it had to work with.
I am going there on a road trip to VA, anyway, we are doing the ticket thing for Kennywood, i am going to ride PR, what other ones would be worth buying a ticket for, and what is PR like? I can't wiat.
