I was there last year on the Suday of the festival weekend. I didn't look at many flea market items, but I did ride Cornball for the first time and had some great fun. Oh and I went by myself but found someone else to share the buy one get one with. *** This post was edited by Wabash Cannonball on 5/7/2002. ***

Are the positive LoCoSuMo will be down by the 17th? Looks like it still needed alot of work done.

The 17th is almost completely confirmed as that's the day that's been designated for Media Day, it'd be a bit of a silly event if the new ride wasn't even open yet don't you think? :-)

I'm sure if there was any question about whether or not it would not open by the 17th they would not be iviting the media and enthusiasts from all over the state to attend. Many wondered about the Cornball last year also. The week before it opened all attempts to make it complete the circuit had failed. Work prgressed through out the following week and the new ride was ready to go aside from some additional painting on the iron steps and passengers had to exit from the same side that they loaded on which was interesting. The staircase over the track in the station for exiting riders had not been built yet.
