Opening Day at SFGAm

Although there is no way of telling what the crowds will be like, what have the crowds on opening day been like in the past? I am planning a trip there on opening day and I was wondering what opening day is usually like at any park. Are there usually many people there ready to ride a new ride if there is one or are there usually less people? Also please if this does go against the TOS feel free to close this. I couldnt tell if it went against them or not.

for some reason, I can't remember if I was even at opening day last year let alone what crowds were like. however, I don't think they're bad because I was always told by my friends that crowds were absolutly terrible opening day and I remember thinking that they were dead wrong. sorry for the poor excuse for a response, but its the best I can come up with. maybe others can help.

Last year most the lines were about 10-15 minutes at max, with the exception of Deja Vu. Ive never had any problems with crowds on opening day that I can remember.

Opening day is absolutley great. The majority of the GP doesn't like going to the park that early in the year, and barely anyone in the GP even knows it opens in early May.

That's great news about the short lines. I am planning on going to opening day for the first time and i was expecting a crowded park. on opening day do they try to open all the rides? cuz i still havent ridden deja vu. And so u all know, i'm getting there way early so I can be the first to fly.

Right on, Blink 3020. Deja Vu and the new ride will be question marks. Actually, DV will almost certainly be open on opening day -- but the following weekends -- after the breakdowns -- it's operational status will be in doubt.

I am pretty sure that the new ride will be up. It is not as new of a prototype as the GIBs were and we know that this ride works. Im hoping that it will be open but if not I can just go later.

Who here already has a season pass that doesn't need processing? I do! So, I'm pretty much gonna be one of the first 1000 to fly.
