Onride Photo

Just curious here. How much does the Onride photo cost at most parks and do you consider it a waste of money?
All of the rides I have been on, the onride photo is about 5 or 6 dollars. I don't consider a waster of money, you can show other people that you have been on a record breaking coaster-if you're going to CP of course, lol!
I have never bought a on ride photo and probably never will. If it was a couple a bucks, I still wouldn't. I see know point in it personally. That is just a personal opinion though.

There one of my favorite things to get at parks along with shirts. I must have 25 or so of them. I paid between $5 (Raven) and I believe $18 (CA Screamin)around $8 is average.

I just hate when they have a bad camera and the picture looks good on the screen then when you get it it's all blurry. So far the best picture I ever picked up was on Roar West at SFMW. The picture is super crisp.

Most on ride photos I've seen cost 8 to 10 bucks. They're fun. I don't buy them all the time, if I did I'd be broke, but I do have 6 or 7 from the last couple of years.

I wish I would have bought at least one at CBC @ PKI Sunday since it was my first trip to the park

I suggest that you ride a coaster a couple of times so that you know where the camera is. Then the next time that you ride the coaster, you can do something funny. I really like to pretend like I am sleeping. That's the only time that I buy onride photos.

I purchased a few years ago when my son first began riding coasters, mostly for him. But I rarely see an on-ride photo of myself that I like enough to spend the money for it.

EXCEPT for one of my husband and myself riding Magnum, and that one didn't show up on the monitor.

I take a pic of the monitor with my camera then print it out.

I was all set to buy my onride of SUF last week, but the cameras were down! Ugh! All of my earlier trips to SFoG resulted in really good pics. Ahh well, I guess I'll save the money for pics from my first trip to CP...:) What rides at CP have onride photos?

I used to be major collecot of them, but then it got pointless. I think that happened around the time when i went to BGW and bought an onride photo with only myself in it. I like having companionship.

Look at the pic in my profile. It is me and my friend richie, on Robin on its first day with lapbars.
