Only 2 B&M hypers. Anymore being planned?

With the success of Apollos Chariot and Raging Bull does B&M plan on building more of these monsters in the future and if so where? Are they considering a 300 footer?
SF Great Adventure I think was planning to get a B & M Hyper in 2001 behind congo rapids....Anyone know anymore about this??

It's not what B&M is planning... it's what the parks are planning. B&M just builds what the parks order.

On kind of an aside, I learned that B&M was approached for Millennium Force, but they opted not to bid because they felt it was too tall. Interesting stuff...

Jeff, thats actually what I meant. Has any park made the approach to B&M to build another 200 plus coaster with a concrete plan to build? I could see them being hesitant about a 300 footer. If I ran a coaster manufacturer and I was approached to build something that tall I would probably have a look of shock.

It seems everyone is in to the trendy floorless thing (how many do we really need).

I can't wait until B&M comes up with another crazy train design.

Good call. A real looping hyper.
We could finally settle the tallest inversion dillemma.

Rumor has it they are going to build one at SF Great Adventure in NJ next year. Just a rumor at this point though.
Screamscape has reported that the latest issue of First Drop Magazine confirms the rumor of a B&M hypercoaster.

What about BGT? Will they ever get one for 2002 or 3?? They need a really good airtime machine! Gwazi has some slight airtime but a good hyper will have much more!! Raging Bull is a MUCH better ride than Gwazi if you are looking for airtime!!! I hope they get a hyper before another standup looper!!!!

All I know is that these coasters are incredible. I've only ridden Raging Bull, and it's like no other. And I hear good comments on Apollo's Chariot. They really should spread these unique coasters around the world. They're awesome.
Bump.

Korn and Camel both had heard rumors about Nitro months ahead of time. I was just searching for stuff on the Janfusun Fancyworld floorless, and I found this. I thought it was interesting that information was leaked. This was way before the lift and drop went up. The other place a B&M hyper is mentioned in this thread is BGT. Is it their turn next?

Dang SFGA2001!!! Did you have to dust this post off after you pulled it out of the woodworks? lol

I still hope B&M can continue to build these monsters in other parks. That is if the parks want it.

I'd like to see one of these at a west coast park.

Maybe Knotts could use one in 2004.  If they are interested in a B&M, a hyper would be really cool.

0-82 in 2.3 seconds! =Wow!

Maybe if SFMW buys the fairgrounds they could put one like Nitro in. That would be awesome.

To all of the people pointing to SFGrAdv:  Call me crazy, but don't they already have a B&M hyper in Nitro.

You need to look at the dates of those posts, Bigboy - they are talking about Nitro! Those posts are a year and a half old.

I'll call you crazy.  ;)

Does anyone think that B&M Hypers will catch on more? Now, the hyper is going up in Europe, what about more in the United States?

Surely someone here is kind enough to buy me a drink to wash down my foot.  :-)  Sorry, I'll try to pull my head out of my arse next time.
