Online photos of Hydra Fighter II now available

The second water-play suspended roller coaster is now open at Wet N' Wild Emerald Pointe in Greensboro, NC. While this version is longer and taller than the SetPoint Super Saturator, there are not near as many water effects.

I rode this coaster yesterday. I rode backwards. The coaster only goes about 10 or 15 mph but it is still fun. My favorite part was going up the elevator and the airtime it gave when you stopped.
Looks cool. Were those pictures taken on a crappy day? Looks a little overcast.

Yes they were taken the 18th of July. I was literally next in line to ride when storms closed the ride for the day. I did not get to ride it but I luckily received a raincheck and will be returning in a week or two. I guess you were there yesterday when I was Hypersonic. *** This post was edited by StarCoasters on 7/19/2001. ***
Just heard the commercial on the radio. Looks fun.

Hehe. That is an actual crashed Huey helicopter that the park got from the Asheville Army Surplus.
Yeah, I was getting in line to ride again when it thundered. I will also be returning in a few weeks. I am glad they gave us free rainchecks.
