Online Jeopardy: Amusement Parks Category

If any of you like Jeopardy, there is an online version with an "Amusement Parks" category at http://www.jeopardy.com, which you may want to check out if you're bored.

You may have to cycle through a few games first, but if you close and re-open the window after the categories appear, you will get a new set of categories. I don't know how often they change questions, so it may change soon. It should be the first catergory from the left in the first round. If it is not, just close and reopen until you get it.

No, it's not tough at all, but pretty interesting. The $1,000 question is about a certain Sandusky, OH park. ;)

Cool. Thanks for sharing this.

Beat my low score of $-21,900. Hehe. Just radomly select and see how low you can go.

I'll take anal bum cover for $7,000.

"That's an Album Cover."

I can read! That says anal bum cover! I spent five years of my life trying to invent an anal bum cover, failing to do so is my greatest regret.

Geez, I thought I did good at $32,000 then I looked at the high scores.

I didn't even get the amusement park category...

You have to do what the guy said for a few times, like 6, before u get Amusement parks on the left side for round 1, its there.

Holiday World was once a question on television's Jeopardy. This was back in 1994...here's the news release I sent as a follow-up:HOLIDAY WORLD THE ‘ANSWER’ ON TV’S JEOPARDY SANTA CLAUS, IN ---- The syndicated television quiz show Jeopardy recently featured an “answer” about Holiday World Theme Park and the town of Santa Claus, Indiana. During the Double Jeopardy portion of the program which aired on June 6, host Alex Trebek read the $600 “answer” in the “Americana” category: “Holiday World is a theme park in this Indiana town that gets a lot of mail at Christmastime.” Two-time Jeopardy champ Cris Zeak buzzed in first, with the correct question: “What is Santa Claus?” Zeak, unfortunately, was not as knowledgeable during Final Jeopardy; he finished in third place. Trivia buffs will also be interested to know that Holiday World, the nation’s first theme park, will celebrate its 50th season in 1995. Holiday World is also Indiana’s only theme park.

Yeah, I know Speedy. I simply meant I got $32,000 without padding my score with the easy Amusement Park category.

Maybe I should've padded it :)

LOL! "I'd like the rapists for $1,000."

"That would be Therapists."
