One Of Kind/ Original Design...Coasters no one ele

Did I miss something? DWeaver's post is completely irrelevant to the discussion.

Hey, don't forget!

Lightning Racer-Only racing/dueling wooden coaster.

Volcano TBC-Only launced (full circuit) inverted coaster with the highest inversion on any coaster (155 ft).

Vortex (PKI)-Only Arrow mega without an inversion after the first drop.

Whoohoo! Just two weeks from opening day! (Six Flags America)

I'm not sure, but does Dragon Mountain at Marineland have a loop after its initial drop? No pictures really show it enough to tell.

How about the Demon twins? Are they the only coasters to have loops added? Back to Dragon Mountain, only coaster to feature a bowtie. Also, how about Dragon Fire at PCW? It's one of if not the only Arrow coaster in which the corkscrews go from right to left, instead of the conventional left to right.

Oh no it isn't!! The Grand National in Blackpool is another twin wooden racer, and Gwazi! I think Stampida has a duelling section to...

Go with Gravity beat me to it. I was going to say about Lightning Racer.

Magnum- First traditional coaster over 200 ft. Made the competition step up, and led the way for so many coasters that us enthusiests enjoy so much.

Gemini- The tallest when it opened.

Great Bear - First B&M inverted to have a helix right off of the lift instead of the traditional drop.

What about Alpengeist? While technically not a helix, it doesn't have a traditional drop. :)

I was thinking about TTD last night and realized that I don't think I'll ever be 420 feet in the air so quickly nor for such a short duration as I will be when riding this, which made me wonder.... aside from aeronautical or aerospace endevors, has anything ever risen as quickly to 400' as TTD will?
MarimbaGuy87, refer to 2Hostyl's sig...I have to agree whole-heartedly with his it. :)

It's still me, here from the beginning back in 1999. Add 1500+ posts to the number I have in the info section if you care about such things.

Whoops, I didn't catch that. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I'm gonna go crawl back into my hole in the ground... ;)

SFoG has the intense Georgia Scorcher.

A-Rod

Woohoo. We're talking about one of a kind/original design coasters here, so the GA Scorcher doesn't quite fit unless you completely forgot about all of the other 21... ;)
