One helpful hint (VIP)

Ok for anyone who plays scenarios, here is a hint. If your playing a scenario where a VIP wants to ride a ride of a certian level, then you need to path the VIP's visit to ensure they find the ride you want them too.

The problem, I couldnt figure out how to select the ride as a waypoint. Some of you may have figured this out easy, but for those of you having problems like I did, you have to click on the ride entrance tile. Took me awhile to figure that out and thought i would pass that on.

The first time I tried it, I didn't notice the little footstep icon in the objective screen, so I had no idea you could designate what they should ride. Couldn't figure out why the bastard wouldn't go ride the big coaster I built.

Am I the only one dumb enough to waste time browsing the instruction booklet?

No, I glanced at it too. Some of the less obvious stuff in there is helpful. It's an inviting book, all spiral bound and such. Very attractive packaging. Too bad they didn't put as much care into the game itself.

Heh. My exact words to my wife when she asked about the game were, "If they'd spent as much time working on the game as the packaging I'd be a lot happier"

The manual says "click a waypoint on that attraction". I tried clicking on ride pieces, clicking on the first square of the queue and so on. Eventually figured out it was the station square. Thought i would pass it on.

Especially since this game is so freaked out.

I like it, but the scenario's are killing me. Many people just REFUSE to ride the rides. Im not a rookie, I've played 1 and 2, but all of a sudden my rating goes from 800 to 80 in like 5 minutes. And since we can't see overall peep stuff we are screwed.
