I was just wondering, how many people have their own on ride or POV photos that they have taken from on a rollercoaster?

Well I have a picture I took of myself and some friends on the lift of the Magnum (1995) and another picture of my mom, dad, and sis taken on the lift of Mean Streak (1997). I took a picture from the second lift of the Beast this year, but I havent had the film developed so i dont know how well it came out (my camera was crappy). I like taking pics on coasters, but I try to be discrete about it. (I'm sure now one of our resident ride-ops will admonish me :))

I have taken my fair share of on-ride pics, but it is nothing to be proud of.

I took tons of POV's not any of me while riding though. Some of my POV include Steel Force, Thunderhawk, Lazer, Hercules, Phoenix, Twister, Wildcat, Comet, Grizzly (PKD), Apollos Chariot,WG Cyclone, Legend, Leap the Dips to name most of em that turned out pretty good. Others are just bad. Somtimes i think for every great picture I get I get at least 3 badly blurred pics.

I sometimes take 4 rolls of film to get a shot I consider good. Photography can be a very expensive hobby. Either that or i'm a really bad photographer.
I used to take my camera on board, but lately, seems like a lot of parks won't let me. :(
i have a few that i took while riding the m force at cedar point, one from the top of the lift and anether going into the last tunnel.i also shot a video on raptor from the front car.(shhh)
I have a great POV on the PGA DEMON going into the cave that looks like a skull

Let's not start up again on how I, as a ride operator, disapprove of this practice highly, lest I be called militant again. ;)

Here are mine. These have been taken over a time period of about 3 years. I'm still working on getting more up.

Shawn, while those are some very decent pics, I think we were talking about self-taken pics. Hence Natalie donning her combat boots :) (just kidding, I actually like wearing my combat boots). If I can get back to chicago this holiday season, I'll scan some of my pics.
I have Batman Knight Flight, Serial Thriller, Big Dipper, Alpengeist, and best of all Apollo's Chariot. I never had a blurred pic. My Apollo pics turned out very nice and I got aboot 7 shots.

Just where did our electionally-challenged friend go, Natalie?

The only ones I've got are Zeus, Raven, and Legend. The ride op at Big Chief didn't seem to mind. Of course, we were the only ones riding at the time so maybe that had something to do with it. And Holiday World allows on-ride picture taking during Stark Raven Mad, so it's a good opportunity to get some pics or video without having to be sneaky.
