On-ride Photos

It may just be me but I think that on ride photos are a waste of money. In my opinion, they are only good when a park only has them on one ride. When they put them on all of the coasters, it just doesn't make me want to buy them, it makes the park seem cheap.

They make for great keychains.

They prove you were brave enough to ride the ride! They also hold memories that can last a life time like the one I baught of me on my first time on millenium force! I was terrified, but excited, and I will always remember that!

Exactly, man! The coolest keychains are the little logos with the on-ride photos on 'em. Especially B&M's. On-ride photos show fun memories! They rock!

The on-ride photo thing is cool, I must admit. However, the prices are just too high. Especially at the major park chains.

The best on-ride photo I have seen was one on a wilde maus at a traveling carnival. (RCS is the carnival company) They had, for $5, your on-ride photo on a floppy disk. I was not sure how high the resolution was, but take it home and print out your own photos, as many as you please. Do any parks do this?

I agree with Soggy....On-Ride photos are great memories, but they are WAY overpriced. At SFA if I remember correctly, the key chain cost more than the cardboard framed photo on Superman: ROS.

I have around 30 on ride photos. I get poster frames and put several in the frames and hang them on the wall in our park/coaster room. I also picked up the SOB sitting frame. Our friend took a picture of us returing into the staion so we used that one instead of the one at the bottom of the lift.

I thought I had a lot. I have around 10. On-ride photos are awesome. Did I mention I am the master at them? Nick, Chris, and I have the best ones together. I buy the frames, never the keychains. A coaster room is something I will have to have in my house.

I love them but think they are way overpriced. I think they would sell alot more if they were $5 as opposed to $8. I just wish my favorite wood (Shivering Timbers) had an onride photo!
