Looks good! I emailed the seller, asking if there is an article or many pics of the coaster inside, but have yet to get a response.

Does anyone know? There aren't many pics of Revolution from those days (well, besides the loop...). Would be great to see some pics of the ride before all the trees grew around it.

I figured at least 2 people on here would appreciate this :)

You can also see the ride when it was brand new in that funny old movie, Rollercoaster!

Look at that chain link fence and how close the onlookers are to the ride. Cool!

EDIT - I just noticed that some of those people are on the other side of the fence.

^Yeah! I've watched Rollercoaster! many times and salivated all over that footage. There is some good video of the ride, but not many pics other than the loop.

edit - I just noticed the mag says "behind the scenes" of Rollercoaster! So it must have been an article about the movie.

The magazine is American Cinematograper, so I would say yes.

Yes, they're part of the photo's subject matter as they have a camera on a tripod.

I just saved Rollercoaster on my DVR last week - Love those Cheesy 70's actors.

IMO, Timothy Bottoms' performance as the bomber ranks with the best film villains ever. He was terrific.

As a side trivia question, Rollercoaster! was one of three flicks to be released in Sensurround. What were the other two? Googling's cheating :)

Since I wasn't a rollercoaster junkie at the age of 12-13 back then, the OTHER two are the ones I DID see in a theater. I didn't see Rollercoaster! until I was in high school a few years later..on television.

Incidentally, Billy...your new picture..Geoffrey Holder in Live And Let Die? If so, you're a man of good taste.

Thanks Mike ;) Revolution? If anything it was Michael Graves influenced, of the 'nu' Misfits.

The 2 other films made in sensurround were Earthquake and Midway.

^ The pilot for the first "Battlestar Galactica" had a cinematic release in Germany (donĀ“t know where else) and they added the sensurround-gimmick to make it a bit more exciting.

And also had a young Helen Hunt in this movie. Got it on DVD a couple years ago. Love it!
