Old Intamin track and B&M Track

You've probably noticed how the "old" Intamin track, used on such rides af sfmm flashback and sfot batman the escape, is very similar to B&M's track. I know that B&M used to work for Intamin before branching off alone. Did B&M first invent/reasearch the track under the intamin company, then take off to use it on their own? Not that i dont like B&M, they are the best !
B&M designed the inverted coaster when the had branched off on their own. the first type of coaster they built on their own was the stand up coaster (they had had some experiance with batman the escape at SFAW and le cobra at laronde). after those and the vortex twins and iron wolf they started expanding their designs.

First of All, B&M began work under the Intamin firm. Intamin and B&M use track built by Giavanola. Ever notice the similarity of goliath's track, also? Therefore, B&M used the track design from prior Intamin experience. And the B&M timeline goes:

'90-Stand-Up (Iron WOlf)
'92-Inverted (BTR)
'98-Floorless (Medusa)
'98/'99-Vert. Drop (Oblivion)
'02-Flying (SW5)
