old amusement park in Bexley (Columbus) Ohio

I now have some of my map findings available on-line in the "Adventures" section of my page. The exact URL is http://capital2.capital.edu/admin-staff/dalthoff/adventures/norwood.html. As usual, I am open to suggestions!

Hey Dave, I remember an old news paper article on the closing of Norwood Park. Maynard Sensenbrenner had alot to do with the closing of the park I believe in 1964. Probably because of the pumping station.

Actually, I came up with better information! When I was building the page, I looked up the link to the Columbus library. There I found information about a photograph that appeared in the Columbus Citizen-Journal on 8/13/1965 related to the start of park demolition. My guess is that a photograph of the park being demolished is probably accompanied by a story. I guess I have to go back to the library again!

Dave, Thanks for the tireless efforts of bringing back the memories of this old park. I've told others of this park and they looked at me as though I was nuts. YOU'RE THE MAN!!!!!

A minor update...

I've added some more comments and generally changed the look of my Norwood Park page. Same place, but now you can see some of the comments I've received since I put the page up some seven months ago...
