O.K. What is going on? Discovery didnt show the CP

Justice Files has been going on and they finally previewed a coaster show to start at 12:00 AM central time. They didnt specify what type of show it is. I thought a CP documentary was supposed to air tonight.

Consider yourselves lucky. Our cable went out at 7pm as as I write this (12:20am) it's STILL out! I knew I should've gotten that DirecTV dish!

Any juicy tidbits? Anyone know if they'll be showing it again in the future? AT&T has 40 more minutes to get everything up and running again before I become a very unhappy man...

Good thing I can use my mom's AOL account to access the net, my cable modem is out too (obviously) :(
I believe it airs at 2AM EST again

For those of you that are freaking because you missed it for whatever reason, I believe both shows re-air on July 21.
Where were the blue-prints? And for those who saw them, what are they?! Man am I pissed, CP SUCKS!

From what I've heard from people who saw the (apparently uncut) show at Cedar Point, it was the blueprints rolled up with a hand trying to grab them or something. Nothing spectacular.

Ah, but that's not perfect either. I lost signal for about five or ten minutes while an electrical storm passed by me just to the south. When the northern part of the storm passed over me, I could get it fine, even if a little weak.

Dammit! The one thing we've been billboarding for a week, and Discovery cut it.

I guess it's time for full disclosure.

Here's what you didn't see. A segment covered the operation of the Design and Planning Office. In that segment, we were treated to some pictures of the models that have been constructed of various ride elements and the like. Design and planning folks are shown working with the drawings which appear to be the 2001 midway renovation plan (I remember seeing something about a jumping fountain)...you know, the renovation that didn't happen this year. At the end of the segment, The Blueprints were hauled out...a roll of prints in the hands of a park planner, identified as the park's top-secret 5-year Plan. A hand from behind the camera reaches for them, but is denied as the planner pulls them away. No, you can't see what's on them. But you get to see the blueprints of the park's 5-year Plan.

The segment was both interesting and entertaining, and I'm not happy that it apparently got cut.

Agreed. That got a good laugh at the screening.

That segment also showed the machines that cut out signs and cut vinyl adhesive lettering. It's amazing just how easily they can crank stuff like that out.
