Ohio weather???

I'm flying into Ohio on Saturday evening. Anyone have any idea how the weather is suppose to be this weekend, and on into Monday and Tuesday of next week? When does East coast weather generally begin to warm? I'm usually in Ohio in August when it's quite nice. I'm speaking mainly of Sandusky of course ;) *** This post was edited by DWeaver on 5/31/2001. ***

According to Accuweather.com ...

Saturday evening - High 63, spotty showers
Sunday - High 58, cloudy
Monday - High 64, cloudy - May rain later in the day.
Tuesday - High 64, cloudy & rain

Accuweather is usually pretty close on their 1 to 2 day weather forecast.
Good luck on your trip.

One word of advice: Ohio weather can change at any moment, especially at The Point! One time last year it was rainy in the early morning for half an hour and very sunny and warm the rest of the day. All of a sudden, around 3, a downpour started.......the only weird part was that it was still completely sunny! It only lasted for a few minutes but it felt nice because it was sooo hot.

Thanks, you guys are really great.

I don't mind overcast and the occasional light rain, but I would hate to get to the park during a thunderstorm and find all the big rides closed, if not CP altogether. :(

The Point does not just close down. I was there last year w/ a big lightning storm and The Infamous Power Outage Black Out Halloweekend 2000. They only closed the rides. The park stays open no matter what. We just went back to Breakers for a few hours, found out the rides were back up, and treated ourselves to short lines.
