Ohio trip help, please.

We are planning an anniversary weekend trip(God, its great being married to a coaster nut!) to WoA and CP September 27 and 28 with the possibility of Friday the 26th. Here is where you come in. We are trying to decide if based on past experience (no, I'm not looking for a crystal ball answer) if we would get the most bang for the buck doing CP on saturday 12-12 and WoA sunday 12-10, or WoA saturday 12-12 and CP sunday 10-8. Keep in mind Hallowweekends\Freightfest start by then! And are the Fridays at WoA during Freightfest in September normally crowded? If we went on friday that would make this a moot post. Thanks for any relevent input.

Just a couple of G-Force junkies!

CP is a bigger Park with more coasters. I know I'd want to spend more time there than WoA. CP on Sarurday and WoA on Sunday. That gives you more time to ride more coasters.

If you build it, they will come.

I am doing the same sort of trip, just not for an anniversary. I was wondering the same thing. I will be there October 3rd -> 5th. I fly into Cleveland on the 3rd and I leave at 8pm on the 5th. I am trying to figure out if it would be better to hit WoA on Friday or Sunday. I basically just want to hit the roller coasters once and then move on to the mecca.
Sunday's are generally less crowded at CP, if that affects your decision.
After several years of the same mistake, i plan to avoid CP on October Saturdays at all costs if i am looking to get some serious riding time in. I find them to be the most crowded days of the year as far as ride and food lines go. I imagine they aren't as well attended as say a Saturday in August, but, there are far less things to do so people are all trapped in the same attractions.Friday nights and Sundays are great times to go to a park in Ohio. I would plan on WOA Friday and CP Sat night and Sunday (i like the late night crowds).
I would look at the weather, for me the best days at CP in the fall are days that start out kinda rainy and cold in the morning, on those days I've seen MF line at a half hour or less, but on the same note I've seen nice fall weekends more packed than in the height of the season in the summer. But in general sundays are the least crowded for both parks. I would also make sure to check WOA's schedule I know of atleast one sunday in sept that its closed for a private event.
Do two days at each. Screw your job. You won't regret it. :)

S:ROS; SFNE. Ride it, and you'll understand.

When I was at CP a ride attedant was speaking to anther park guest about the busiest nights in the park. Sunday night is the least busiest. If I were you, I would go on Sunday and get more ride time. SFWOA is usually a walk on all year except X-Flight. Congrats on the Anniversary! RIDE TTD for me please!

Here is the trip I have been making for the past few years and it has always worked out quite well... CP on Friday, WOA on Saturday, back to CP on Sunday. It is a little extra driving (the back and forth between the parks), but for me it is worth it. The Frightfest Saturdays at CP seeem to usually be rather busy, while WOA isn't too bad (and in the middle of the day when the lines do get long, you can go over to the Life side and practically have it to yourself...)
