Ohio theme parks about to get more costly

At least at SFA the season passes that we are taxed on are some of the cheapest around. Actually many areas have amusement taxes that are higher than ordinary sales tax.

Can anyone guess who employs 2Hostyl?

I just can't believe that I voted for that idiot Taft, and even marched in a parade for his campaign. What was I thinking? The guy sucks, and he has to go! I thought "Taxing Tim" was bad. Now I know "RINO Taft is worse" (RINO means Republican In Name Only).

Taft is bad for Ohio, and we are all in trouble. Thank goodness I already bought my 2003 CP Season pass.

Makes me glad I don't live in Ohio! Sucks, though, for anyone wanting to have fun.

Taxes are built in to the ticket price and I doubt anyone will see an increase this year. Another reason to have a season pass. You better believe they won't be collecting sales tax at the SP gates.

The entertainment industry has always been a target of politicians for easy revenue. For years when you went to Kennywood, you had to buy tax tickets. The boro of West Mifflin had instituted an amusement tax early in it's history. I seem to recall the tickets had a value of one cent. The more regular tickets a ride required, the more tax tickets that were needed.
