Ohio parks reach crucial time for attendance

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

The next three weeks are crunch weeks for Ohio's amusement parks, where weather can play a huge factor in making or breaking a season financially.

Nice article. Very well researched.

Most of the parks hardly need to worry. Im sure Paramount, Cedar Point, and SFWOA dont.
Well school is going to start in mid August which might not be good because I have a lot of friends that go to SFEG, but probably the same thing at the Ohio parks.

I'm not too happy that we have to rely on millions of peeps in order for new coasters to be built which results in frustrating & massive lines.

I've just realised that the peeps enjoy coasters almost as much as us, except we're a little bit more interested in them. ;) I just don't like it when peeps get the front seats & I don't, as think to myself "That's not fair, I'm a coaster enthusiast, they're not." Maybe I'm saying this because I've never experienced ERT.
Well since CP isn't all that busy, I guess I will have to make another trip there. I do like short lines:)

Attn: Six Flags, repainting the Cobra at LaRonde and calling it Batman "something" isn't going to cut it. We want NEW and cool coasters, and we want them yesterday.
Both Six Flags and Cedar Point seem almost too jammed.
I've heard that PKI is having the best year ever for attendance so far.
