OH, PA, NY Driving help

I am going to Cedar Point on vacation next week and I was wondering about the rules regarding16 year olds who are about to get their license because I need about 13 more driving hours with my parents. I am from NH and I'm wondering what the rules regarding driving without a license but with my parents are in those states. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What does this have to do with coasters? Nevermind. Um when my sis got her license it was after you drove the hours you couldn't drive from 12 at night til 5 in the morning. I am not exactly sure.

Here in good ole Ohio you cannot drive from 1-5 in the morning until your 17, you can drive with your parents anytime between 5 a.m. and 1 p.m. I believe. Have fun and watch out for Ohio drivers, they suck bad.

I think you should be OK if you have a parent with you. Most states require a parent/guardian to be with you if you're only driving on a learner's permit. Just remember to have it when you're driving. :)

This may have changed since I took my PA drivers test (a lot longer than I care to think about.) but I recall if you we're still on your learner's permit you had to have an licensed adult in the vehicle, and you could not be driving between the hours of midnight and six AM. The latter was also a restriciton after you recieved your license until you reached the age of 18. So you may have been legal to drive in some states at those hours, but not in PA regardless of where your license was issued. Like I say it may have changed in the last umpteen years, but that's the way it was.

Sorry I miss typed mine, you have to have a parent in the car at all tiems if you have your permit and it's like 5 or 6 a.m. till like 1 a.m.

You should be good to go in PA as long as your parents are with you. Like everyone else said just don't drive at night and you should be ok.

You have to have so many hours before you can get your license? Dang, you could get your learner's permit on Monday and get your driver's license on Tuesday when I was a kid. Hate to think what it's going to be like when my daughter gets old enough to drive. HeHe
