Considering my last coaster ridden was in late July I've pretty much gotten acclimated to the off-season by now.

In the winter it's snowboarding. So for me (and apparently for the other frequent skiers and snowboarders here), it's just a different season with different fun things to do.
On this note, it looks to me like there's a fair number of skiers/riders in the PA/NJ area who have posted so far. Maybe someone should organize something!

During the off season (and winter in general), my activities move indoors. I do a lot more artwork during the winter months. I also collect books over the summer specifically for reading during the winter--preferably in front of a nice, warm fire with a glass of spiced cider nearby.
Oh....and I play RCT (now RCT2) for my coaster fix.

Well, I live in Colorado and like most, I LOVE Coasters and Skiing. I have been blessed with GREAT places to ski(and great snow this year so far), but as everyone knows Colorado lacks in coasters. So it all equals out I guess.
After the Ski Resorts close and the before the park is open I usually just do everything else a 16 year kid does, hang out with friends and school and stuff.

With a house, a wife and two kids the question is what don't I do?
Without a four-day workweek and a park 20 minutes away, I wouldn't even have time for an amusement park habit. Winter gives me a chance to catch up on everything else.
After four years of protracted negotiations, Playette and I have finally agreed on colors to repaint the interior and a specific ceramic tile for the entry and kitchen. I suppose having to choose the siding and roof colors in a hurry made this a lot easier to do. We didn't even need the usual tie-breaking CBaby vote.
I just hope I get enough done before May...

Lots and lots of booze.

I do a lot of hunting and shooting. I love to hunt deer with a bow and arrow. I spend a lot of time in the woods with my bow. It is very relaxing. I enjoy being in the woods, even when I do not get a deer.
I also love wing shooting. I have a great brittany spaniel with a good nose for ring neck pheasants and just loves to hunt them. It is just as much fun watching him work as it is hunting. He just knows when we are going hunting. He gets all excited even before I get out the gun or the hunting clothes. Then when he sees the gun or I get out my brush pants, boy does he go cazy. He is also a great pet. Who says a hunting dog can't be a house dog.
I also shoot a lot of skeet and sporting clays. Some friends and I make trips to different sporting clays coarses and go to a few benefit shoots.
After hunting season, I usually do a lot of reloading. I go through a lot of shotgun shells throughout the year and those long winter days make for a good time to reload. Reloading is actually a hobby that I also enjoy. I have a lot of hulls and try to get everything loaded up so that I do not have to spend time in the summer loading.
This winter I will be planning a coaster trip. I became an enthusiast a few years ago and really do not have a lot of coasters under my belt yet. I took a weak in early June next year and plan to hit several parks.

There is a new twist in the Top-Hat. :)
Well... Work, Home, Family commitments never leave up during summer (the "season") or winter... so all of that stays the same.
But what is beign planned for this year's off season?
- Going to GIANT Center (Hershey) for 40 hockey games (7 of which have already been played)
- Holiday things (Thanksgiving and Christmas) in Nov and Dec.
- Two Minature War Game conventions (one of those was just this past weekend) and painting lots of minature figures for those games.
- Possibly an early spring (March) visit to the shore (you can take dogs on the beach during the "off season")
- And the big home project... finally wiring the basement.
-----------------------
Truthfully, the "off season" for me is actually busier than the "season" is for me.
-----------------
Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"
-----------------
A day is a drop of water in the ocean of eternity. A week is seven drops.
Reading, surfing the net, playing with my daughter, catching up on the summer movies I missed, basically a lot of the same stuff I do during the "season." My daughter started pre-school this year, so things are a little busier this year. I now have time for Christmas shopping, well any kind of shopping, without having to get a babysitter. Yes!!
Also hoping to get back on the slopes this year. Haven't been since our daughter born. Guess I need to get those skis waxed up.

Does anyone exercise? Go outside?
I just ran the Columbus Marathon, and I'm trying to maintain that fitness level. I'm in a bowling league for the first time ever this fall/winter. Fantasy football is always good, and of course, I'm enjoying watching the Buckeyes reclaim their glorious history (take that, Homey G and Rollergator!). We're smack dab in the middle of retail season now, so my business takes up a good deal of my time. Also, we're getting ready to celebrate our first wedding anniversary in December with a non-coaster related trip to a warmer climate (although, Los Angeles sure would be fun...).
