Officials stress importance of safety in renting inflatables

Injuries on the popular amusement devices are common because man are unaware of the inherent risks to using them. They're often treated as "giant pillows."

When Markey was more vocally on his crusade, one of the things that kept coming up about amusement accidents is that inflatables were always calculated into averages and such, and on a "per ride" basis throw the data way, way off.

Joe Bolen said hedidn't blame the inflatable apparatus since his son was doing somethingfor which they were not intended. "They were being typical teenagers,"he said. "They didn't see the danger there."


Without reading the story, I just let my mind go straight into the gutter, based solely on the title of the thread. Good lord people, go with the real dolls. Not that I would know anything on the subject, they just same safer.
