Official patch kills scenario progress
Did anyone else lose their LL progress after installing the new patch that just came out? The original and CF scenarios are still beat, but the six or seven LL's are gone.
I'm sure reinstalling will revive them, but did anyone else have the problem?

I read over on danimation that some users had that same problem. There wasn't a solution posted, but they do have links to the completed games, but that is in this forum as well. You're definitely not the only one. Lucky for me I didn't have any progress before I installed the patch.
What exactly is the patch supposed to fix? I haven't noticed any problems in the game. At least not like the 3-D theater problem from the first one.

I didn't lose any progress, but I didn't have much to lose either, having only completed one scenario in LL (Volcania) - I still had a bunch of scenarios in CF to finish as of when I picked up LL (and still have some more to go).
The only reason I ran the patch was to get Win2000 compatibility. I don't know what other issues it addresses.
Just about every official patch does that. I think its almost a given that it tries to block cheats. I don't know what exactly it does though.

The latest version of RollerCoaster Tycoon – Loopy Landscapes is 1.20.013. Loopy Landscapes can now be played under Microsoft Windows 2000. There was an issue where guests would stop entering the park once the player had reached a certain level of ride research. This problem was only evident in the first ten Loopy Landscapes scenarios. This has also been fixed so that guests will continue to enter the park throughout the duration of the scenario.

That still doesn't address my problem. If I install that patch, I lose all of the LL progress and have to reinstall to get it back. I've done the first seven scenarios, so if said issue is a problem for me in the next three scenarios, I've got problems.

Have you tried the daylight savings time patch? It is a scenario progress restorer. It may be kind of a long shot, but you might want to try it.
