There are no bad coasters, only better coasters!!

Wow that looks nice. I wonder if any of the previous haters are going to take a liking to the look of it now. Carowinds sure did a great job. This should work out great for them.

Dunno... is it still a Vekoma? If it's not anymore, that would help.
That coaster looks stunning! I can't see where the sphere is yet, and it dosen't look as if they've filled the lagoon up again yet, but that coaster looks really nice, with great landscaping! Can't wait till May 14!
What are you guys talking about? It's still one of the ugliest rides I've ever seen, and it's obvious they haven't finished the landscaping, so how can you say it looks integrated into the area?

Easily: That coaster looks stunning! Its my opinion, and you've stated yours, so I'd say thats that.

I just don't know what landscaping you're talking about, since there obviously isn't any...
All I see is a lot of dirt and a hideously painted ride. If dirt makes for good landscaping in your opinion, well, then I can see how you'd love it. I equate it to a pile of vomit in a sandbox.

Question:

I may just be out of the loop here, but I personally never had any problems with Stealth at all, so why does (most) everyone complain about it? Based on my ride on it, I'd say it's the second best ride Vekoma has ever produced, the best being R:RC at Disney MGM, Florida. People say you get headbanged and it's rough, but when I got off I was positively glowing about it's smoothness and the brilliant design of the restraints, particularly the soft upper body restraints (and I think we all know it's rare for an enthusiastic to glow about anything Vekoma has done). I rode it a year after it opened... has it really gone that far downhill since then? Or are people just so used to Vekoma producing clone after rough, identical clone that they can't accept it when they get something right for a change? Just curious...

As for it's new location at carrowinds... I'm going to reserve judgement on it till they finish up the themery, but I'd still say it looks a bit out of place. No, scratch that, it looks like it fits in very well with it's environment, but not with it's trekkie theme. I'm hoping we'll see that change before opening day though.

Vomit in a sandbox? That is an interesting comment to say the least. Atleast he did not refer to it as something that he throw up this time.

Anyway, let's remember some words of wisdom since coasterdude318 has added some wit. What is one man's trash is another man's treasure. Just enjoy it and if you do not like it, then move on to another coaster.

I don't remember Phantom's Revenge getting this much flack for its paint job.
Hummm.......Its funny people say they only see a "dirt box" when you can clearly see newly planted trees and shrubs throughout the area. I know some of you have your opinion and such things of that matter but just think, why doesnt the pics show the sphere?, why doesnt the pic's show the station, or perhaps why doesnt the pics show the water filled?

Well I personally have seen all of the above and i must say the horseshoe looks amazing because its half way in the water, well the sphere........Phenomonal!!! and the station......well its ok.

And when i say intergrated well in the park im simply stating that it looks as if the coaster was made for the park, it doesnt look like it was moved from another park. Some see the bright side of the coaster and some are just stuck on august 25th still.......

**Remember folks its a crash site**

And another thing.........how many other parks offer as many walk thru coaster as carowinds does. I applaud carowinds for this addition and i think they couldnt have done a better thing to stealth!! *** Edited 3/11/2004 2:00:26 PM UTC by coasterbruh***

Wow, nate, I'm suprised you said it like that, now was it so hard to state an opinion as anything but an opinion? I guess we see things differently. I see a new coaster at a park that I like(and I like Flying Dutchmen), you see something else to complain about, so we're both happy.

And Volcano, aside from the pathways under the coaster, I see trees, shrubs, and lighting, so that is why I said it.
