Off Season Revenue

Currently, Canada's Wonderland has leased thier parking lot to Daimler Chrysler. For now they're using about a third of it to store newly built Chrysler 300M's manufatured at the nearby Brampton plant.

The lot has been fenced off at one end, a security post set up, and there's a steady stream of vehicle transport trucks coming in and out of the park all day.

I happen to think this is an ingenious way to generate revenue in the off season. It's a cheap way for Chrysler to store vehicles prior to delivery, and it's an easy cash grab for Wonderland.

Do other parks do things like this in the off season to generate revenue?

wonder if it's $9 per day per car
SFEG makes a mint off of their parking lot in the offseason. Since the park is so close to the Pepsi Center and Mile High Stadium, they get a lot of parking revenue for Avalanche, Nuggets, and Broncos games.

We lay people off. Its been working out great for years.
