Fantasy Island, UK, will release their vekoma six-inversion inverted on May 23. Named "Jubilee Odyssey," it has been built to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee and is even having a royal opening. SW5LIVE now has some photographs of the completed track (scroll down to updates).

Wow, that looks absolutely insane, I think Europe has taken our coaster boom from us!

I'll take a loop and cobra roll from a DejaVu, an SLC turn... ;)

Don't forget the horseshoe turn from Stealth, et al, Jeff.

I think Europe has taken our coaster boom from us!

Well, we have this year for sure, what with our B&M Count going up from 4 to 8 coasters, 2 New Major Parks Opening, and a whole host of other coaster opening too(AIR,Colossus etc) But come on, our last big year was 1994, so its about time we had another good year, On another note 2003 is already looking good for Europe as well, With a bit of luck, Euorpe could be seeing 10 B&M's Operating in 2003 ;)

Odyssey does look good, I was'nt all that interested in riding it, but maybe after seeing the pictures, I could be forced to make my way up there maybe :)

Now this one does look good! From the photos it's hard to get an exact view of the scale, are the 200ft + measurements thrown around earlier accurate, or is this another Fantasy Island over exageration?
The layout of this ride looks like the assemblege of many different manuevers from other as Jeff an others have mentioned. Still it looks very intense, heres to hoping its just intense and not makes me retard cuz I hit my head so many times intense.

Yea it does not look 260 feet tall. It looks more about 180. Thats just my opinion.
Oddesey looks good. But here is the question we are all wondering...Is the train gonna stall in the cobra roll like it does on Deja Vu? And Thorpe Park is becoming a major amusement park. It used to be Black Pool and Alton Towers, but with the addition of Colossous and a 4 inversion B&M invert...that is a very lucky park.
