Odd Dreams that involve coasters

I have the strangest dreams when I think abou something really hard before I go to sleep. Last night I was thinking up PKI and what I haven't done there this year. FOF came to mind. Anyways, so I had a dream that I got into the first row of seats on FOF. Then, it launched but not very fast and I could see the LIM's on a crooked track but the LIM's looked like the ones in No Limits. So, then we got into the big building where everything is. Well, I was scared and I closed my eyes and froze my body because I didn'rt want to fall out. So then, we went over a hill (the building was very well themed and had like mini volcanoes everywhere) and I jumped out and grabbed onto some track. To my surprise, the track was made out of plastic and was very flimsy. I jumped off and landed on a weird looking platform. I then saw my old social studies teacher and she getting a ladder for me to come down. When I got out of the building, I was in CP but saw a Topspin right where that area closed off by the Magbum was. It was all very strange. Anybody else have a dream lkike this that was really complicated?

I have had one simular to it. I was in line for montu(I've never ridden it)And it was wired becuase the seats were like 4 ft. above the floor and you had to jump up to get on. So I couldnt get on and my dad and sister did. The op told me that the other train was eaiser to get on so I waited on the other side of the sation for it. It seemed like I waited an hour for that train. Finally it came and I got on it. With my sister. We started up th lift went throught most of the coruse and then I go thrown from it and landed on the ground right next to my mom and aunt. I got up and said okay lets go ride Kumba now. It was wierd. then I woke up. that was it.

Stange Huh.

I had a dream a few years back that SFGAm got the first stand up inverted, but it had a floor and it was really compact but really a blast.

LOL Spongebob, that one was funny. (esp your spelling off Magnum....exactly how I would describe the ride) My classic one that I think I wrote on here before is that I conspired with friends and removed the trims off Alpengiest. The blasted thing derailed and we had to seek refuge in Canada for fear of (gasp) the Busch Gardens gestapo.

I once dreamed that Disney bought Lakemont Park, which is my homepark. They were going to turn it into a third Disneyland/Magic Kingdom. I woke up laughing out loud.

I remember before I went on Millennium Force. Me and my friend were going to Cp in like a week and it was gunna his first time at Cp. It was the first time I rode it and so my dream went sort like this:

When we got there, the trains on MF were all taken off and placed on the transfer track. So they didnt have any trains for anyone to go on the ride. So when we got up to the platform we saw that they had temporary single person cars. These cars were actually those little yellow square scooters that you probably had at your elementary gyms. So me and my friend got on the scooters and the elevator lift took us up. But right at the top, for some reason my friend thought it would be funny to shove me off so he did. So I'm falling straight down the left side of The Force while I can hear his evil laugh as I plummet, lol. But right before I hit Lake Erie, I woke up. It was pretty weird.

I've had a lot of others, but they're just kool and not that odd.

Is it true that you will die in your sleep if you don't wake up before you hit something from falling in your sleep? I've been told several times that it is but it sounds like an old wives tale to me, the fact that you woke up before you hit Lake Erie brought that up.

Coastingohio, do you remember which side of MF's lift you fell down? If it was toward Lake Erie, and you were falling mostly straight down, you would probably have hit the road that runs right next to MF. Ouch...

Ooooo I had another funky coaster dream last night...

This one involved MF. Well, I wen ton the ride with my friend but it was like in a building. Well, ya know how in real life, from a distance the first drop looks like it curves in? Well it was in my dream, A LOT! The end of the lift was right next to a wall and when we went down, I hit my head on the wall. Then I fell off and was trying to catch the train with like a harppon. Well, I caught the train and it crashed right in to the station. Some old looking guy wearing a suit that had white hair was coming toward and then I woke up...hehe.

I don't think its true. In most of my dreams, I let myself hit the ground or whatever im falling to, and all that happens to me is, it's just like I jumped real far down. Then it gives me a wierd feel in my legs but the dream just keeps going then.

Can't be. People usually DO wake up before they hit in a dream. But you cannot definitively say that you DO die if you hit ground or even that you might, simply because if the person dies, how would you know what they were dreaming?

The day before I went to SFWoA I had a dream the S:UE flew off the track and everyone died, and I cracked up laughing, and then a restraint from the destroyed train flew at me so I caught it with a web like Spiderman, and I thought the restraint was a piece of toast so I ate it. Then I got a stomach ache and woke up.

I've had a recurring coaster dream, but not of any specific park that I've ever been to. I get in line to ride a steel hyper coaster with bright yellow track, but the coaster isn't finished yet. We climb the lifthill and zoom downward, then up the second hill....and that's where the track ends. Needless to say, each time I dream it, I'm flying through the air in a coaster train, and then wake up.

I was told by a shaman once that when you dream about floating,flying, or falling, it's usually when your internal "spirit" is floating free from your body. The falling and sudden jerk when you wake up is your spirit returning to your body.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

This isn't a dream that I have had, but it was one that my wife was having the other night. She talks in her sleep, and sometimes it is pretty funny (especially when she talks to our "butler" Charles).

When I woke up, I heard her talking. It went something like this.

"Its slow, but its only the lift hill... you gotta keep your head down, Zeb [the nick name for her 6'4" brother]... this has what they call Chopping Blocks... The clearance is only 6 feet... if you don't duck your head it will chop your block right off... this is a fun ride if you don't die... and they need the heads too for the Haunted House... they will take them, blood dripping and all... I can't believe grandma is riding this... it will reall make her pace maker fire... "

At that point I had to get up because I was laughing too hard.

Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"

I recently dreamt that I finally got my wife to ride a coaster with me. It was Looping Thunder at Oaks Park here in Portland,OR.We go down the first drop,the turnaround,the second drop,and up into the loop.The coaster train doesn't quite make it to the top of the loop and we end up valleying right there.

I had a dream that I went SFNE and rode S:RoS. My lap bar wasn't working but the ride-op dispatched the train anyway. While going down the first drop I fell out of the train but didn't fall. I just kept going up in the air.

I had another dream that I went to a Six Flags park in Georgia. ( no it wasn't SFOG ) I can't remember the name but it was weird. They had three coasters. One was a purple coaster with two loops. Another was a boomerang and the third was a 180-190 ft non-looping steel coaster. The only one I rode was the non-looping steel. It was green and had a curved drop. I was looking for the station for hours but I couldn't find it. Finally when I did I got on the train. Me and my sister were the only ones on the train. The back seat only had room for one person. The front seat was enclosed. I got on the second to last seat. We started moving down a street in the train. ( yes a street ) There were tour guides on the train. Finally the train got near the track. Somehow the train got on the track and we went up the lift hill. Right when we got to the top of the lift hill I woke up.

I had a dream one time that MF was breaking and at the top I had to get out and build the track as we were going up the hill. I wasn't fast enough and the train came off the unfinished track at the top and I grabbed hold. It fell forever and I woke up screaming and laying on my floor. I had fallen out of bed.

For some reason I dreamed a ride on the Whizzer (even thought I have been on it 20+ times) , and I was in these swing type cars, and swung through the forest.

I had a weird coaster dream last night! It started out with me on the computer looking up information about Tower of Terror at Dreamworld. Then, suddenly, I was looking at the coaster in a computer program that was an odd mix of RCT and No Limits. The station was grey and the cars were black (it was twin tracked, like S:TE). Then, I was actually in the station, talking to the ride ops! Eventually, I walked over to one of the ride cars and said something like, "Nice car." The car was bright yellow and themed to look like a sports car: it had a windshield, fake pop-up headlights, even a steering wheel for the left rider! It also only seated two people, and the restraints were like the ones on B&M speed coasters. Then I made a comment like, "Yeah, you really need those headrests on this ride!" Then, with the restraints unlocked and nobody in the car, the ride op shoved the car out of the station and onto the track. The LIMs (they weren't LSMs) worked like magnetic brakes in reverse, and the car shot all the way up the tower, over a top hat element like Xcelerator's, and ended up right in front of the other car on the other track. I said something like "Those LIMs are really powerful", then I woke up.
