Observation Towers

Okay, I know they're not thrilling, but does anyone have any advice for the Observation Towers? I've designed a few cool ones (hint: raise the ground up as high as it goes then build the tower down inside it and build the scenery on the ground level at the top- save it and then put in in another park)

The trouble I'm having (including in 6FMM & 6FoT) is the dudes (why are they all male- not complaining- just wondering) will ride the elevator up to the top and then state "I want to go on something more thrilling than Observation Tower" and won't come back down. They then begin to get mad because they have to go to bathroom, eat, go home etc.

I could never love an Arrow

Yeah, that seems to be a problem. Especially when the AI of those little uni-sex people is so low that they don't understand in order to get out of the park or use a restroom, you must go on the "BORING ELEVATOR RIDE".

Solution? Build an ugly flight of spiraling stairs down from the tower. :)

Other more attractive solution:

Make a queue line on the upper level that goes from the entrance and connects directly to the exit. In RCT2, this forces them to get in line.

They may all llok male but the names are both male and female names. I think the elevators would have been great for RCT:CF in the Whispering Cliffs Scenario. Okay kinda pointless but does anyone agree

You can download Whispering Cliffs for RCT2 at the Official RCT2 Website- there are a few of the originals there

I know what you mean. Build the Queue from the exit.

What does that achieve?

I believe it makes the scenery easier to stack when building the enclosure of the tower.

I just take the easy way out & use one of the pre built towers in most of my parks,my usual choice is the sky tower from the SFMM scenario, although in my current park I'm using oil derrick in the western themed section.

It's easier to build the scenery around the top section when the ground is closer to it and things are easier to line up. Then save the tower and open it in another park. Its easier than trying to stretch scenery up into the sky which I find very hard in RCT2!

Yup,that's what I just said.
Use the shift and control keys (espcially control, separately and especially together)) to build things up high. Then you don't need to worry about moving the land up high.

Yes but with my screen size I always reach the edge of the screen b4 I reach the desired height I need- same as on coasters
