Obligatory Trip Questions Post

I am leaving for L.A. on Saturday, and hitting Magic Mountain on Sunday and Knott's on Monday. Any important information on what to ride first (because of crowds), and any other information that would make my trip more enjoyable, would be greatly appreciated.

At MM definitely go for Deja Vu first. They don't let you choose your seating, so you might want to count people off and let the right number ahead of you to get the front. Also, S:TE is a good choice for a couple laps early morning. Both of the rides have relatively bad capacity and are near the back of the park, so the waits go from 15 minutes to 2 hrs. very quickly.

As for Knott's, Xcelerator did a really good just of banging out trains when I was there on a Wed. The line really moved, but the front row line was horrendous. I would recommend getting there at gates and hitting GR first (back row) and then Xcel. in the front (If the line isn't onto the ramp. If it is, don't waste your time until the regular line is also really long). Xcel. doesn't start to get any kind of line for the first half of the day (until about 1p) so you can get quite a few laps on it. Make sure you hit GR and Xcel. at night. Especially GR in back though. It's incredible.
