Could someone please give me the play by play instructions to opening extra objects for rides?

Yeah, I think it goes as follows:

Help | Help Topics | Type in "Objects". ;)

I went there, but it didn't help, I dl the files and make sure they are in the objects folder, then i extract them......idk what I'm doing wrong or suppose to do. Any HELP is appreciated.

Save LeSourdesville Lake!!! It was the best park ever!!!

do you mean in the editor or in the simulator? If its for a preticular track then go to options, advanced, then make sure objects is on

I mean in the editor, becuase i cant even get them to appear there. The Simulator is all ready to go.

I'm still not sure what the problem is.

You said you dragged the zip file to the Objects folder then extracted it? Make sure that the Zip file didn't contain the objects within a folder. If it did then you're going to end up with a sub folder and that's the wrong path. The 3DS and texture files need to be in the main Objects folder.

Also you should make sure that 'Scenery' is checked in the View menu, otherwise it will not display. This menu is view-dependent so you might have scenery turned off in one view but on in another.

With that cleared up the only thing you have to do to add an object to a scene is choose the object from the dialog in the Scenery menu and then click anywhere in the work space to add it. You can only work with one object at a time but other than that it works just like adding a Tree.
