Two items I saw on CNN's scrolling banner:
1) Vivendi chairrman resigns......Vivendi owns Universal....hoping this has no effect on expansion plans for O-town complex....
2) On a happier note, Romania has apparently given some sort of go-ahead to the Transylvania theme park....first ride "The Bat", a B&M dive machine that takes riders SIX FEET underground.....Second ride, the Impaler, an S&S turbo-drop onto "virtual" spikes.....
I don't think it will affect expansion plans. They've done alot of planning and they won't just turn back.
The second bit is definatly news worthy. Finally, the third B&M dive machine...

Formally Known as Ozzyhead.
Pt 1, my assumption is the plans were done, but they said then the expansion was contingent on attendance, so.....
Pt 2, sorry, those two rides were my creations, not confirmed rides. Rest assured, (but not "in peace"), the park in Romania has many barriers to cross before it's built...

if you aren't outraged, perhaps you haven't been paying attention...
I knew you were joking! Honest! ;)
The Impaler...now THAT'S funny! That along with a rapids ride down a 'blood' stained river.

janfrederick getting into the spirit....*applauds*
Other rides of merit: The Swinging Blade....swinging ship themed to look like one of those old-time movies where the hero is threatened by a blade coming down. The log flume would have to be themed to Charon(?) crossing over the River Styx. Skull Mountain has finally found a home. I see the need for a Morgan coaster with the famed "coffin cars". There's a restaurant called "The Wooden Steak"....;). The Haunted Castle seems a requirement, Catherine....
and don't even get me STARTED on what we could do with a nice Sally Dark Ride. I really did miss my calling.....darned answering service.....

Jill (we're working on her) added in that Demon at SFGAm would go well, but even she said the theming on PGA's version wouldn't cut it.....with the red glowing eyes, and Scooby-Doo bat sounds in the tunnel.....
Fog effects are gonna be major for this park, when they get smart enough to fly us in there and work on the place.......Just wait 'til we get the job working on the proposed Hawaiian theme park...:):):)

They actually do that at WOF for Halloweekends. They call it the Fury of the Bloody Nile. I kid you not.

Yeah, but only for coasters in US. Fabriweld :( creates the track for US Vekoma coasters. Vekoma creates track for Europe coasters. The Thunder Mt.'s @ the Disney Parks all had Vekoma fabricate themselves, and that's why there smooth. So, since this new park is gonna be in Germany (right?), it would be fine since Vekoma would fabricate the track themselves. Only if Vekoma gets payed for the Deja Valleys though :)
