Northwest Coastering

I'm going to be in Seattle during the middle of this week until at least Oct. 6. I may be staying around until December for school.

I realize that it's late in the season and there's not much around the area, but is there anything to be done in the next two weeks or so? After that? Is that SDC Windstorm at Seattle Center still around?

I haven't been on a coaster since a brief, terrible visit to Astroworld in early-April (pity me, please.) and I would hate to end the season on that -- especially since I'm coming back right after PPP.

May the Schwarz be with you.

Silverwood is open until October. Go there if you can swing the drive or the flight to Spokane.

Too bad you just missed the Western Washington Fair.

Playland in Vancouver is still open this weekend, as well. Coaster is well worth the drive from Seattle.

Don't forget about Enchanted Village and their thrilling Timberhawk: Bird of Pray for Airtime!

Maddie, if you e-mail me, perhaps I can give you some advice on your day to day visit here. I can't believe you didn't think of ME!

Me..... ;) Email me!

...oh yeah, and as Chris said you missed the Puyallup! How dare you? Coaster is still open, though, and worth the trip, and as Moosh said, you can always (highly recommended) drive to Silverwood for some nasty coastering. Between those and Coaster at PNE, you are more than set.

Yes, definitely give Coaster and Tremors a few spins for me. Timber Terror is amazing, as well.

Okay, so I hate public transportation. If I had my car with me here in Seattle, I'd have gone everywhere by now.

Forgive me for hijacking my own thread, but my 'net access has been curtailed a bit since I've gotten here and I'm hijacking my friend's laptop so that I can hijack my thread.

Are any of y'all going to Nasai's show at Chop Suey on Monday (except Nasai, of course. I'd hope you'd be there.)? I'd like to go, but I don't want to wander out late at night alone.

I'd go, it's been a while since I've seen a good live band (and I've never seen ol' Rob behind the kit, of course). Unfortunately, I don't think my car is up for a 3000 mile drive. Sorry. :(

Maddie, the show was cancelled. Don't show up at the Chop. They are filming a commercial! :(

Will advise....

Well, that really sucks. Are they going to reschedule it or something?

And, uh, what else is there to do in this town? :)
