North Carolina or South Carolina?

Scenario: Because of recent budget crunches the Paramount Entertainment Corperation must close off half of Carowinds.... (I changed it so shut your traps) You must choose which half you would rather keep. Will it be the section of the park in North Carolina or the section in South Carolina?

Of note: If a coaster or ride crosses the state line then consider the coaster or ride in the section that the station is in..... for instance, Thunder Road crosses the state line, but its station is in South Carolina so it would be considered "spared" if you picked the South Carolina section.

Use your memory or a park map you own or you can view one at www.carowinds.com (the map is under park information)...... As for me, I choose North Carolina (yes I do enjoy Vortex so there!).

Be sure to post your decision!

I think you need to turn off the computer and go play outside. A nuclear bombing is not something to make light of like this :(

I agree, This is a Waste of Space on the Coasterbuzz forums.

Give me a brake, you people are no fun! And no, I am not "making light of a nuclear bombing".....

It's just a little game for those who want to do some brainstorming... if you don't want to take part then don't ruin the fun!

*Nessy: Ride of Steel gives nascartheridein05? a B&M Brake.*

There's your brake, you wanted one.

Actually, I find this to be the most idiotic post I have ever seen on these forums.

Step away from your computer. I repeat step away from your computer. Reach down and cut the power off. Now go find something besides making rather stupid and pointless topics.

Who said we were no fun?

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.

And it's pronounced Nu-cu-lar;) he he, sorry, couldn't help it!

Coasterbuzz-The only place you can say SOB or MF and not be considered a potty mouth:).

Your post would have been better served without the surreal nuclear bomb reference. In this day and age, there's nothing fun or trite about the scenario you displayed. Just say, which state has the best selection of rides? Geez.

Not to mention a nuclear bomb would create deadly fallout for either side of the park not directly hit. *rolls eyes*

Your inability to see how grave this situation even after the friendly but stern reminders by your fellow 'Buzzers only shows your age even more.

That and the fact that someone is going to turn this into a "Carowinds needs a hyper" thread.

Long live the Aging Bull. PCar had an aging bull, but it fell victim to the sweeping changes. I didn't know they had a shirt for a Bayern Kurve though. That's awesome.

I didn't invent the word Crap!

nascar,

The scenario of a nuclear or terrorist attack is so real its not even funny. We have real terror threats, a very irritated middle east, many large nations have retracted their support for our war on terror, and North Korea is doing missle tests. These are scary times and the scenario you described would level both Carolinas.

Next time match your topic idea against current events and think about the whole attitude and common sense over such a statement.

Please visit the small parks. We don't know what's happening behind the scenes

Regardless of how one of the sections disappears, I think I'll be the first to answer this.

I would choose SC because it's my home state (w00t!). Other than that - if Iraq did bomb one side of Carowinds, I don't think anyone will be riding any rollercoasters on the other side just to make light of things. Except maybe for nascartheridein05?.

First we don't need a nuclear bomb. There's a power plant not too far away that could do the trick just fine. That being said, even though I live in NC I'll take the SC side if the power plant has a melt down

Second I really don't think Carowinds will pay the licensing
fee to name a ride Nascar

Lastly with North Korea claiming they could hit the west coast where Disneyland,SFMM,Knott's,ect. and millions of people are,not to mention 2 buildings getting destroyed a few miles from Coney Island 1 1/2 years ago, threads like this are gonna get hammered .

I don't think you understood the previous post. Look at the screenname for the original poster.

I saw it Andy but I've also seen this Nascar speculation in other posts in other threads It may happen but what will they do when they decide not to pay the licensing fees anymore. The Big One in Blackpool was called PepsiMax Big One. Dropping PepsiMax and calling it The Big One is okay but if Carowinds Dropped the Nascar all theyed have left is The Ride. Not much of a name.
