Nokia Sugar Bowl - Coaster?

I was flipping through the channel's and noticed on the Sugar Bowl, they showed the 2 commentators i think, riding a roller coaster. The Sugar Bowl is in New Orleans, and the coaster was turquoise-I think, does anybody know what it was??

It was on ABC, right? They had some ABC sports commentators situated at CA Adventure. I remember they were right in front of the lake by CA Screamin'. I think the clip was of them riding that.

they were somewhere in florida... they said they were infront of a disney somthing... did ya see the mickeymouse head on the lift in the background? :)

The ABC sports commentators were at California Adventures in front of Paradise Pier for some ceremony for the Rose Bowl, and yup the coaster in the background was California Screamin'. But I'm not sure about the coaster in New Orleans.

They were riding California Screamin at Disney's California Adventure.

Bah. Illinois lost... :(

And bad. I was hoping a Sugar Bowl win would make up for having season tickets for their four worst seasons in recent memory (95, 96, 97 & 98).

So John Saunders and Terry Bowden actually rode California Screamin'? I'm sorry I missed that. I stopped paying attention once it got to 20-0.

...just wondering how T.Bowden made it past the ride-ops checking minimum heights...maybe he was wearing his tall shoes! SEC goes 3-0 against Big-10, 4-3 overall, one bowl game remaining...wonder who I should root for tonite...

ALL those trains were just from CA Screamin', huh? I saw three, four, maybe even five trains on-screen at once, flying ALL over the place...must be a million blocks on the ride!

CA Screamin' has close to a million blocks, it really takes away from the ride. It doesn't feel like a complete ride but really like four or five different coaster segments. To put it bluntly, CA screamin' has no flow or pace.

Ohh, BTW CA screamin' has only a 48 inch height requirement, so T. Bowden just barely made it with four inch heels.
