No Winner Yet

As I am sure many of you know the official site still hasn't announced a winner. I was just wondering when the day will actually come? Later today..tomorrow..next week? Just want to know what everyone thinks.
What's wrong with this topic?

Dutch Coastin' :: European coasters, thrills and theming!

I know it says on or around the 14th, I just wanted to know people's opinions on when they think it will actually be announced.
The suspense has been killing me all day... argh...

I'm not expecting anything until Monday. Anything before that and I'll be surprised.

I personally am expecting to wait at least two weeks.

The way things get updated on that stupid website of theirs you will be lucky to hear something this year.

Bob Hansen

25 pounds, Bob!? Damn! That's impressive.

I'd like to think "on or about" means "within a few days" but you guys are probably right.

On the other hand they were pretty good with the original contests and those prizes were just mousepads and posters. (I wonder how much they'd get on e-bay?)

I'd hope they have enough common sense to keep close to the time frame with a contest like this.

2 weeks!?!?!?!?! I cant wait that long? Arrrgggghhhh! Chris, If you're reading this (which he probably does, and if he doesn't, why does he have a link to it on the RCT2 homepage) HURRY UP! Hire more judges or something.

He's probably waiting for St. Pat's Day. Luck of the irish. :)

I'm also wondering if they'd contact the winners prior to announcing them on the website or in any official capacity. That kind of makes sense to me. It just seems like if you won, you'd know before any "offical" anouncment.

RCT MASTER, I don't think Chris even touches the RCT/RCT2 site. He may, but its doubtful.

If at first don't succeed, find out if the loser gets anything.

Didnt it say something in the rules that if you're a winner, you'll be contacted by e-mail or something?

I have the rules sitting right here in front of me:

Judging will be completed on or about March 14, 2003. Winners will be notified by mail

Well, it's been over 10 days since judging was completed. Has anyone been notified yet? (You can see I'm getting impatient ;))

On the website there's a tiny little link at the bottom of the page that says "Check out the names of our winners" and when you click on it, it says "check back soon" - so the winners will most likely be posted there along with an email notice hopefully.

I check the website everyday and as you all know nothing. I look forward to snail mail and still nothing. Even email nothing. I hope something happens soon, I can't stand this!
I don't know DRNK, what is wrong with this topic????

My expectations of a coaster:
Over 200 ft.
At least one inversion
At least 60 MPH
In Cedar Point
I wish they could atleast update the website letting us know what is going on. Like if it is going to be another month say so. I'd be ok with that, atleast I would know what was going on.
Just incase anyone still cares about the contest, I was looking around the infogrames forums and found out that the judging is finally completed and they are wating to get the final results.
