No reverse-stop on V2 at SFMW?

I was at SFMW today and V2 was not being stopped the 2nd time up the back hill...is this normal? They were stopping it on press day, has anyone else been on a normal operating day? How was it run? I was kind of dissapointed to see it operated this way.

I'm not sure if they were doing that on purpose but I know it's not normally ran that way.

AKA V2 at CCN! AKA SFMWManiac at SFMWOnline!
They were talking about this in another post. Someone said that the reason why it doesnt stop is because the breaks had a problems of overheating, so they disabled them until they get the problem fixed and then they'll reactivate them.

For what it's worth, they're not brakes. They're motors run at stall.

Are they motors just like the LIMs along the horizontal track? I knew they weren't regular brakes, but I never found out what kind they were.

Cyclops. 1900 feet of CCI goodness.
Yes, they're just LIMs that work by reverse launching the train in a way that gravity and their force cancel each other out, making the train stall.
