No november date for pki.

I just contacted Pki, and asked if there will be a november operating weekend this year.

The operater said that they will not be open at all this november. I than asked if it was a possability that it may be added, and she said "no", the decision has already been made not to be open that last weekend, and that the last day of operation this year will be on oct 29th.

I am kind of dissipointed that the park will not be open that weekend, it has been kind of a tradition to hit the park on that last weekend. Kind of weird also, they had a decent crowd on that last weekend.

I'm a little disappointed that the coaster season (for me) will be over a little early, but keep in mind why the park had a crowd that November closing weekend - they gave away the gate. Season Pass holders got e-mailed vouchers that they could print up to to 10 of, and bring friends in for free. Allegedly, I heard that they weren't even enforcing that limit of 10.

Now with Cedar Fair running things, I doubt that even on the final weekend in October that they would be doing a give-away deal, even it it were just ONE ticket/guest per pass holder. I'll be at KI on the 29th, but if it's busy, I hope it's simply because it's a nice day out, a chance to get season passes and process them (at least temporarily), and oh, the last chance to do Kings Island for the year!

Dental Plan! Lisa Needs Braces.

Well, I was told the other day by an employee that it *would* be added, so maybe it's still up in the air.

I hope they do add it, but DON'T give away the gate. That crowd was purely ridiculous.

They should've learned that from Six Flags. All they wanna do is buy buy buy, build build build. CF is already in huge debt for purchasing the paramount chain.

CF is in an entirely different situation than Six Flags...

And Kinzel said they wouldn't be buying anything else until the Paramount Parks paid themselves off, unless they could get an extremely good deal for something that would be worth it.

lol...giggling from Steel not picking up on Michael Darling's sarcasm :)

Isn't that what he said about Geauga Lake? ;)
