Is this just another move to save $? Seems were are getting complacent again since 911 was over 10 years ago. Based on what happened in Colorado yesterday, this is foolish cost-cutting IMO.
This is the third or fourth year without metal detectors at Kings Island. This year they just decided to give up the act.
In fact, removing the detectors has probably made it possible for the park to improve security inside, where it really counts...

Do you also think the TSA makes you safer? What happened in Colorado has nothing to do with anything.

^^^ actually, Jeff, it had a lot to do with the theater staff not checking to see if someone had propped open a fire door. Probably not a problem at KI.
