No love for Indy?

Sorry, I just got back from DCA and DL a few minutes and I checked out the Golden Ticket Awards from the news. Well I looked at the award for best dark ride and the winner was Spidy (haven't been on it) and 2nd and 3rd belonged to the Haunted Mansions at Knoebels and DL. I'll admit the Haunted Mansion (DL) is by far the best Haunted house ride I've ridden but to me it does not even come close to same level of Indy. Does anybody enjoy this ride as much as me? It was by far the most enjoyable and re-rideable ride of the Disneyland Resort.

It is my favorite non coaster ride.

Indy is a world class ride. I liked Countdown to Extinction as much, also. (Haven't ridden it since '98)

However, I've heard the Tokyo version of Indy is much better....

Indiana Jones is the best dark ride ever made. Simple as that. :) I have a lot of respect for the classics, like the Haunted Mansions at Knoble's and DL. Still, the level of detail from start to finish is unmatched.

Now I haven't been on Spiderman, but I have to think that Indy would be hard to beat.

You're right, Matt. But, they did top it with Spidey! (I'm still blown away by that ride!)

I'm glad some people like it as much as me. I could ride it all day and each time it feels different. Its also my favorite non-coaster ride.

Peabody, is the Indy in Japan at Disney Sea or Tokyo Disneyland. I might go over with my Japenese class my junior year and Tokyo Disneland is one of the stops but I'm not sure about Disney Sea since its new.

I rode Countdown to Extinction in 1998 and is was great to. But I found Indy to be a hair better. I didn't get what was going on in Countdown to Extinction but it still was a very fun ride.

Hunter. The Japanese Indy is in Disney Sea. I have been to Tokyo Disneyland, but not Disney Sea. I found it to be head-and-shoulders above both American parks! (It's not owned by Disney and a LOT more $$ get's spent on it than the American parks)

I'd love to go visit IOA sometime. As great as I think Indy is, I have the feeling that after taking a spin on Spidey, I would say the same thing as you!

Spidey outdoes Indy in every aspect. It's just amazing!

I totally disagree. I enjoy Indy much more than Spidey. What I like about Indy is everything is "real" and it is a much more reliable ride. I've ridden Spidey many times, but only had everything work properly a few times. Indy seems to be more consistent.

In my opinion you can build something spectacular, but if it doesn't work then it is pointless. I feel that is where Universal has failed in many regards.
