However the game is without some shortcomings, and most of these have to do with buidling a completely smooth ride without pumps and bumps. The additional tools made by additional people help, but really it would be nice to have that built into the game. To me though, it is nice to have complete freedom and creativity to design any roller coaster of my imagination. Being a mechanical engineer, the actual program was not any more difficult to pick up and use then any other computer software that I might need for school/work.
The one thing I do like, and is more personal, is that it takes all the money and business issues that I had with Roller Coaster Tycoon, and just lets you build your coaster. I do agree that sometimes putting restrictions on what resources you have for your parks and rides, does lead to creative solutions. But I just never liked how roller coaster tycoon, I felt like more often than not, I felt like an accountant and not a designer.
So maybe I am a nerd, but to me I am looking forward more to No Limits 2, or another add on, than another roller coaster tycoon. I played the demo for RCT3 for that Hershey contest, and just was not impressed by anything about the game. I did like the orginal, but I don't understand the point of going 3d, and yet lacking so realism or detail.
