Deadline to register is tomorrow, Sunday July 27th at midnight PST!
It's time to put away the excuses and come join three dozen of your fellow CoasterBuzzers in the Pacific Northwest:
"But Idaho is so far away."
Not really. The park is about as far from Seattle as Las Vegas is from Los Angeles, and getting there is pretty easy. Spokane International Airport is a mere 60 miles from the park and all major airlines fly there.
"Flights are too expensive."
You'll find that Alaska Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines all have the best fares to Spokane and Jet Blue serves Seattle. Check www.orbitz.com, www.southwest.com, and www.jetblue.com for low fares. Sometimes a combination of two airlines works, like Jet Blue round-trip to Seattle and Alaska round-trip from Seattle to Spokane. Or, if you can't afford to fly into Spokane try flying into Seattle and driving. A few attendees are doing that and caravans can be arranged. You'll find hotels along the way in Ellesburg and Moses Lake if you don't want to make the drive in one day.
"Why travel that far just for two wooden coasters?"
Um, hello? Many people used to say the same thing about Holiday World, and now look how popular SRM is! Anyone who's attended the past three CAC's will tell you that Tremors and Timber Terror are three outstanding CCI woodies. You know how Holiday World says Raven and Legend run in "Insane Mode" for SRM? Well Silverwood's two woodies run in "Extreme Mode" for CAC!
"I love SRM but with the crowds I only got a few rides."
That is not a problem at CAC! With three hours of night-time in-the-dark ERT on two coasters and only 35 people registered thus far you can ride and ride and ride until you just can't ride any more. And since both coasters are next to each other you don't have to walk up a hill like getting from Legend to Raven!
Still not convinced?
Read Mike Miller's trip report from CAC2002.
Don't miss out! Register TODAY! See you at Silverwood!

Really angry at myself that I didn't get to Silverwood 2 years ago when I spent a week up near Glacier National Park in NW Montana. Did do some whitewater rafting, tho, so it was kinda like a park visit. All in all, I'd have to say that Montana lacks the themeing of Bilge Rat Barges. That's what happens when your friends consist of non-enthusiasts.
