Not to say that he posts as he did 4-5 years ago...but yeah. He's around.

I know who your talking about.
He was the same one who was literally SCREAMING like a girl at the top of his lungs "six flags" when we were supposed to do that. He scard the crap out of our whole table, I thought for sure Bryan Edward's kids were going to start crying!
Jason I knew Jeff back in his PKI days and I have to say he is the BEST at what he does. I honestly think they had him as one of the last presenters so people would stay! Jeff always made Beast Bash and ACE Winter SOAR a gazillion times more fun, just by his passion and sense of humor. PKI lost out BIG time when he left, and once Maureen left....well.....
(and since Jeff, Maureen and Paramount left so did Beast Bash and Winter SOAR at KI)
The presentation we all got about Schlitterbahn is all Jeff. I got busted by him opening my "do not open until instructed" envelope. It was hilarious! :)
Although I got real excited about SchlitterCon, and my hubby and I were so going to go until we saw that it is the day after Holliwood Nights. Financially and time wise, we would have to decide on one or the other so HW wins. If SC was later in the season and not so close around other events we'd attend.
Our 1st Illinois experience-we knew there were 3 tolls from OHare to Willowbrook on 294 and I-88. Problem with that? Some of them you have to have exact change (or I-Pass) there were NO signs telling us that until we got right there. So we threw in what coins we had and took off. Then had to do it 1 more time before getting to Willowbrook. No worries though, when we got home I got on their website and paid all the missed tolls, including the one we didn't pay the full 80 cents for. Yes, they actually have a website Illinois missed tolls.com. Needless to say heading back to OHare we had TONS of change! :)
We found a restaurant on I-85 called Portillos and OMG we loved it so much we ate there 3x! Wish they would open a franchise here!
The only downfall (next to the toll mess) to our 1st No Coaster event was the weather. You will never hear me complain about how cold it is in Ohio. I could NOT believe how cold it was in Illinois! :(
We did have a good time!! Seeing tons of friends during the off season is always nice. Having my picture taken with Batman, Robin and the Joker was priceless! :)
Thanks again for the '94 guide Jason! I LOVE it! :)

Darn, I wish I knew that it was you, Jo...I was sitting next to Jeff and pointed you out to him for trying to open your envelope. ;)

So you're the one who got me busted huh? :)
I looked over and saw Jeff looking at me and thought I was going to die! I wasn't going to open it all the way---Bryan Edwards did that!

What was even better was when Jeff came to your table and 'scolded' you and gave the "two finger -'I'm watching you' " look to everyone in the vicinity. ;-D

As to opening the envelope, I pulled the seal open during his presentation but did not look inside until he said so. I wanted to open the envelope and not have to shred it because I wanted to keep it intact.

Would effects be added to the ride or would the PE boats be used to ferry people over ala the Tom Sawyer islands at the Disney parks?
Sounds cool either way.

Not quite.
And as you can see from this slide at Eastcoaster, Kings Island will be having an event this fall and is continuing the Beast Walk-Back still. *** Edited 2/12/2008 11:38:43 PM UTC by Jason Hammond***
