I've been looking at pics of Nitro, and I've gotta say, that is one sweet a** coaster. It's like Raging Bull+Apollo's Chariot=Nitro. Don't hold me to that though. Anyways, I saw a picture of the seats, and on each chair, the left arm rest has a little knob thing and the restraint has something that lines up with it. I think it used to be a seat-belt type of thing. But when I went back in June, they were gone.

It originally had a cable system that allowed larger guests to ride. From what I heard there were some problems with it so they took them out. If you look there are still holes in the lapbar so maybe they'll get it to work for next year.

It was a cable that connected the seat with the lap bar. This was an extra-security measure...much like the seat belt clips on the floorless and inverted coasters as well as many other kinds of coasters. nitro's seats are the best seats ive ever been on, love those restraints. i got about 8 rides on nitro just didnt blow me away like medusa did .
