Nitro restraint

On Nitro, at the beginning of the season, the lap restraint had this little thing on a cord that snapped on to the right side once you pulled it down. I noticed after a few weeks that the cord was gone and its been gone since. Anyone know what the story with that thing was?

I know why> because it saves loading time. and alot easy with out it
It was a measuring device to allow a quick check to see if the lap bar was down far enough.

It was no measuirng device. On all B&M's besides speed coasters, they have the extra seat-belt to make sure that the harnesses don't unlock. That little cord was the "seat belt" for the speed coaster. It was first used on Nitro, but it slowed loading times severly because people didn't know how to take them off.
I've seen something like that on FoF I think.
