There was a video on AFV and it was of a guy video taping himself on Ninja at SFMM for the first three loops, it was a pretty cool video!

sounds like he was putting his saftey and the safety of other riders in jepordy. What if he had dropped his camera and it hit sombody?

but did he? people need to stop being so uptight, people arent gonna be stupid and not try and hold on to the camera, come on now. usually what people do is strap it to their wrists, its not like they just set it in their laps or nothing...

If you took a $1000+ piece of equipment onto a ride, the last thing you'd want to do is let go of it.

I know some parks disallow photographic equipment on rides, but I also know parks that will gladly give you advice etc on the best way to hold the camera and stuff. I'm sure if the dude was able to get the camera onto the ride, then SFMM deems it safe for riders to do such things.

From all the parks I have been to, all of them do not allow photography of any kind on the ride. It is too unsafe. And also, technically, the rides are private property and the park has the right to not allow photography of any kind without their permission.
