Even though I like water parks, particularly those with heated water, I will be forced to supress my park urges for the trip. I know, I know it's Orlando. It's like being at the buffet, but unable to eat anything. At least the hotel has heated water for thier slides when needed. At that price I should be able to slide directly from my room.
Though we all know that as soon as I see the brochures in the airport, blood lust will take over and the adrenaline will pump for coasters.
Here's To Shorter Lines & Longer Trip Reports!
My 1st week is June 29th through July 6th (a nice 4th of July get-away)!
My 2nd week is Dec 25th through Jan 1st 2007 (bet it won't be crowded then)!
***At these peak times I'm paying $29.95 per night! This is not a typo! I'm paying $29.95!
I would love to try out other places in the Orlando area…but the value I get at the Red Roof Inn Hawaiian Court makes it impossible for me to look, let alone stay, anywhere else!
...read above for info about the refurbished rooms/etc! This place is far from a dump (and believe me…this cheapo Motel 6 type knows his dumps)!
In fact…I would call it downright nice! I’d not feel cheated paying $80-90 plus per (not that I would though)…. ;-)
For other value oriented consumers...CALL THE HOTEL DIRECTLY and ask for the WEEKLY RATE! This has worked for me for years!
***I swear that this is a clean place with a pool/spa and GREAT location to ALL the parks and International Drive! You can walk to Sea World (about 3/4ths mile)! *** Edited 1/12/2006 10:04:48 PM UTC by Jeffrey R Smith***
