If any of you people are going to be in Niagara Falls this summer make sure you hit Clifton Hill. They built the new WWE store and there is a freefall ride on top of it. The ride's opening date is set for July 26th. I don't know any stats about the ride but it is built and looks great!
Happy Coastering!

get the f out, thats hilarious. Reminds me off how face off would be f off without ACE.
Hopefully I'll make it up to SFDL this year and will get to stop by the falls to ride that.

He let the contents of the bottle do the thinking; can't shake the devil's hand and say you're only kidding.
From what I was told, and usually it's wrong... the store itself is supposed to open on July 30th, and the ride wasn't going to be ready until mid August.
As soon as I get back from Clifton Hill again, I'll be sure to post photos, but I don't think I'm going to go unless I know it's opened. I was there 3 times thus far, and the progress is like molasses. It's very, very slow. All other development in that area has surpassed it by far.
I think the original date was late Spring. They even have broschures that advertise a free laserlight show inside every couple hours, and show a picture of the drop tower (even though it's not up yet).
My question is.... cost... how much will that run for a ride, and will it be just a shot up & down, or will it be a couple shots up & down since you're just paying for the single ride (unlike park admission, where it's just a part of the whole).
I was just at Clifton Hill on July 21st.. The ride is built like I said above.
The WWE store is open, and has been for about a week. It's in the "plaza" area next to Rainforest Cafe and The Art and Science of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. There was a sign at the entrance to the ride saying that it was opening on July 26th.

S&S might do it.... but this isn't a S&S ride... this is a Zamperla drop tower, so it wouldn't work.
I'm just wondering how long is the ride? Do you pay 5 bucks to be shot up & shot down... then let out?
